After reading yesterday's the Party of Lincoln became the Party of the Klan? post at this blog, a friend who belongs to no political party said the Republicans need to wake up and disassociate themselves and their party from the white supremacists, before brown shirts are everywhere telling Americans how to think, speak and live.
I said the Republicans already chose to be the White Supremacist Party, because their party is more important to them than anything else, and they will do all possible to keep it dominant, including aligning with white supremacists.
How do I know this?
From talking with white Republicans face to face. From seeing white Republicans' posts on Facebook and engaging those white Republicans. From seeing white Republicans hold forth on TV news and opinion shows. From seeing white Republicans defend the white cop who killed black George Floyd. From seeing white Republicans go rabid over Black Lives Matter and black athletes taking a knee during the National Anthem. From seeing white Republicans claim the 2020 presidential election was stolen by black Americans. From seeing Jim Crow voting laws passed in red states. From seeing photos of massive white Republican political rallies.
