Lauren, The House Republicans vote tonight whether to removed Elizabeth Cheney from her House leadership positions, because she dared to call out Trump and other Republicans in Congress for claiming the election was stolen. Cheney still has her soul. That is not true of her colleagues who caved to Trump. I think Michael here, by his continued harping on investigating election fraud, in the abject absence of any evidence thereof, leaves him in league with Republicans who side with Trump's stolen election claim. All but two of my Polish Jew ancestors were killed by the Nazis. The two who survived came to America quite a while before Hitler got going. What I see in the Republican side today reminds me a lot of Hitler's rise to power. It might not come to that in America, I sure hope it doesn't. Republicans like yourself encourage me and remind me of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a Christian oracle the Nazis killed after they couldn't shut him up.

Agree. I cannot fathom how anyone can vote for these people after what they’re doing to Liz Cheney. Everyone knows the election was not stolen and everyone knows Trump is responsible for Jan 6th! McConnell stood on the senate floor and blamed him that very day! The Democrats do not like Cheney bc she voted with Trump 95% of the time. So this will end her political career. Today’s Republicans are the most dishonest hypocritical people I’ve ever witnessed in politics. And THAT is saying ALOT.

I just watched Elizabeth Cheney do a Dietrich Bonhoeffer on her Republican colleagues who lined up with Trump re stolen election, her speech should be required viewing by all Americans. I detested her father for getting America into two foreign wars that made him and his company and other rich white men a lot of money. But my goodness, did she boil the Trump lemmings alive, and I wonder if even one of them grasped it. Nearly all of them were not there to hear it. As you have experienced, turning over the tables in your own home, church, social club, country club, etc. can get you into plenty of trouble, even shunned, or expelled. It might hurt your wallet. It might hurt your job. It might destroy your reputation.

It was incredibly refreshing to hear a prominent Republican finally speak the whole truth! And she did it in such an eloquent way! I just don’t see how anyone doesn’t realize that this has nothing to do with election fraud and everything to do with loyalty to man over country. I thought for sure they would wake up after he deserted them all on Jan 6th and in the following days but even that didn’t wake them up.
