How about the Commander-in-Chief and his family, his Cabinet, Mike Pence, Republicans in Congress and their families lead the charge with their bodies to reopen America

While red-Chinese factories, some American-owned, pump out products Americans need, I shopped in an Asian grocery market, where I buy survival staples: brown rice, sesame seeds, seaweed, dried fish, Asian herbs and condiments. All store employees and customers wore face masks. Not so in American grocery stores in my area, where perhaps 25 percent of shoppers wear masks, and maybe 15 percent of employees.

CDC, FEMA have created a plan to reopen America. Here’s what it says.

A few of legions of reader comments:

Sloan Bashinsky How about Trump, his Cabinet, Pence, McConnell and all Republicans in Congress LEAD THE CHARGE by packing a church of their choosing in D.C. with their families’ physical bodies to receive God’s blessing, protection and authorization to tell all God-loving (or fearing) Patriotic Americans to follow suit and show their faith in God and love of their country and allegiance to its flag. I immagine Trump wants schools, day care centers, summer camps open, so parents can return to work.

Pat Collier Crowell I’m pretty sure I can tell you what it says without reading it.
It doesn’t matter if people can be tested, or if we can stop the spread and save lives. All that matters is that we get the economy moving again so trump can say the economy is good. It’s all about money and his re-election, not about our people.
We should all be very angry and committed to getting him out of office.
  • Mariola Magdalena
Mariola Magdalena No thank you. I’ll wait until I hear from the governors about what their public health officials are recommending on how to handle the re-opening on a state-to-state basis. He didn’t lock us down, the governors did. He has no say... 👋🏼
  • Su Gaddis-Koferl
Su Gaddis-Koferl He will “authorize” the governors, and then will “hold the governors accountable”. Interesting way of saying “I make all the decisions, but accept no blame for the consequences of those decisions.”
  • Peggy Eddington
Peggy Eddington "He added: “We will hold the governors accountable."

Cool. When does he get held accountable?
  • Judy Obrian
Judy Obrian Well FEMA Washington DC office has some virus in their office which required quarantining and testing today. Perhaps they should figure it out in their own building before instructing the rest of the nation.
