I gave my email blasts a rest for a while, but I managed to write three cheeky blog posts and do two podcasts with with my tech buddy Bob and a redneck witch I took up with about 4 weeks ago.
Gabby’s a country girl. We met online in 2010, when I was writing at my blog about my younger brother who had gone missing, and we kept up with each other by email. Her husband died a couple of years ago after a horrible illness. She and I had lunch. A year later, we had lunch. I took her out to dinner a few times. Four weeks ago, we were talking on the phone, and, well. I now look forward to getting up each day. My physical health is better. She got me in in to see new doctors. I never laughed so much in my whole life.
Gabby is writing a very interesting book about her life, which has been totally different from my life. She has many interesting sometimes amusing, sometimes awful, tales from the crypt. She has had a spirit woman protector since she was a child, and later 4 spirit women showed up, who give her hell when she messes up. I was in my 45th year when angels showed up to start straightening me out. They are still trying...
When I read in various online news reports that Donald Trump said he was surprised that such a powerful hurricane as Helene could happen in September, I wondered how Trump could live in West Palm Beach, Florida and not know the hurricane season begins in June and ends in early November, and some of the most powerful hurricanes have come in September and October?
I wondered, because everyone living in Florida, but Donald Trump, knows what you just read above.
I wondered how any Republicans and MAGAs in Hurricane-ravaged Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina could want such a hurricane ignorant idiot in the White House? If he can’t anticipate hurricanes in September, how can he anticipate anything?

But then, maybe the angels that steer and correct me would have Helene’d me if I had kept quiet about it.
The Truth often is much stranger than fiction, but it’s really hard for me to imagine anything stranger than Donald Trump, Mark Robinson and Marjorie Taylor Green.

Hurricane Milton continues to strengthen over the Gulf of Mexico as it takes aim at Florida and is now a Category 4 storm with 150-mph winds, according to a special advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
At 7 a.m., forecasters issued a special update, saying Milton is now a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph. By 8 a.m., winds had increased to 125 mph. An hour later, winds jumped to 150 mph.
NHC forecasters had been predicting Milton's sustained winds would hit 155 mph by 8 a.m. Tuesday. That may change in the coming hours. A Category 5 hurricanehas sustained winds of at least 157 mph.
Hurricane watches and storm surge watches have been issued for portions of Florida. Devastating impacts are forecast for Florida, from life-threatening storm surge, flooding rain and damaging winds.

If Wilton hits central west Florida with 155 mph winds and tidal surge, FEMA, already way over extended in Florida and southern Appalachia, will not be able to respond, and it very well could be that no insurance company will insure homes anywhere in Florida against hurricane wind and rising water damage, and only rich people can afford to own homes in Florida.
