I can't imagine self-respecting demons rooting for Covid-19 to kill people the demons like

That Meme was at the top of my Facebook timeline yesterday morning.

Before Covid-19, cruise ships (plural) called on Key West most days and the Old Town part of the city was littered with cruise ship passengers on foot and riding conch trains and city trollies. After the city transit authority provided a free loop bus that cruised Old Town, cruise ship passengers used that, too. Although it was said cruise ship passengers didn't spend much money, sometimes they came back and stayed in hotels. The restaurants, bars and adult clubs on lower Duval Street and the museums and art galleries said they depended heavily on cruse ship passengers.

When cruise ships were banned because of C-19, Old Town businesses said they suffered. But they suffered more, when the Florida Keys were closed to anyone who did not already live there and essential workers.

After the Keys opened back up, but before cruise ships were allowed to roam and pollute the high seas again, and before Americans were allowed to fly to Caribbean nations, they flocked to Key West. The average cost of a regular motel room was over $600 a night.

Me, I can't imagine putting myself on a giant floating Covid-19 and variants petri dish. I recall cruise ships that got infected not being allowed to make port. I think Florida Governor Desantis needs to take a long cruise and catch Covid-19 and let that guide his future Covid-19 edicts.

Meanwhile, a couple of reader comments under the meme were too tempting to let sail silently by in the night.

Wow the floating covid ships are just scary!

Mark
Thank god he has the balls to do the right thing.

Sloan Bashinsky
If Desantis catches C19 and is on ventilator, will he hold fast to his stance?

Jennifer
Some of them do, right down into the casket.

Sloan Bashinsky
I have read of that, and I have read some of them wish they had gotten vaccinated. Meanwhile, how much did they cost to try to be saved by doctors, Fire & Rescue, ER, ICU, doctors, for what they could have avoided? I can imagine ETS, Angels and perhaps even Demons shaking their heads. I can't imagine self-respecting Demons rooting for Covid-19 to kill people the demons like

Christine
Someone savvy needs to spread the word about advance directives and let ppl know they can decline ventilators ahead of time. They can decline all covid 19 related care if they truly don’t agree. You can spell it all out. Don’t agree with science and modern medicine? You don’t have to! That’s your right! But write it down ahead of time so we don’t waste time and resources. Covid isn’t real and won’t kill you so you don’t need the lifesaving treatment

Jennifer
I think 99% of them are full of hot air, as soon as their life is actually threatened, they run for the hospital. Trying time to be a nurse. Say, why are 50% of nurses declining the Vax? Crazy number.

Sloan Bashinsky
Ah, but I don’t get the sense that the anti-Vaxers, in the main, are Christian Scientists or otherwise religiously opposed to modern medicine. I think if they catch C 19 and get a rough case, they will want everything modern medicine can throw at it, whatever the co$t. And, that’s when some of them might wish they had gotten vaccinated while they and all close to them pray unceasing for God to save them.
50%?

Jennifer
Close to 50%, says NPR.
96% of doctors are vaccinated.

Sloan Bashinsky

The doctors % was my next question, wonder why the disparity?

Christine
95% is very high...I think it’s also a bigger problem down south, and maybe they count nursing assistants under the nurse umbrella? Which I would attribute to less education
but mandating the vaccine will only cause them to lose MORE staff in my opinion. They have always had worse nurse to patient ratios and therefore worse patient outcomes. It’s been studied about 60 billion times but they still won’t adequately staff hospitals. Just tell us to work faster or figure it out. It’s disgusting. I do find it interesting that with all the staff shortages nationwide they are really going to mandate this right now. I see why but most of the reason given is to minimize losing staff to quarantine/illness .......... but they are going to lose a lot permanently by putting the mandates in place

Jennifer
It's going to be a shit show for a while.

Sloan Bashinsky
In March 2020, an Hasidic doctor presented a cheap, fast, early stage infection cure, which he had developed and used in his large family practice. It kept his infected patients out of hospitals. Facebook banned his name and ingredients, which had been widely used a very long time. The key ingredient was zinc, which was known to inhibit coronavirus replication, but something needed to transport zinc into body cells, which was the other key ingredient Facebook banned any mention of. The doctor and his cure were burned at the stake by the Left, its media. Dr. Fauci, FDA, CDC, NIH, WHO, Lancet, Big Pharma. Some doctors prescribe that verboten cure off label. That cure still could rescue America, and humanity, from Red China's gift, and from Big Pharma and vaccines. I had both Pfizer shots early this year. Since June 2020, I take quercetin and Vitamin C with zinc daily, to insure I have zinc inside my body cells. No prescription needed for those 3 - yet. Quercetin and C work synergistically to transport zinc into cells. I think people with heart and/or high blood pressure issues probably cannot take that cocktail, and need to rely in vaccines or, if they catch C-19, hope they can get antibody treatment, which is available to high risk patients. Or perhaps they star in M*A*S*H sequels. As for the vaccinated folks, well, it's clear now we can catch it, but perhaps not so severely.

Jennifer
Whatever works for you. I think those treatments were never proven to have efficacy. But sometimes "they" are wrong.

Sloan Bashinsky
The doctor proved the efficacy in his large family practice. Other doctors proved the efficacy in their practices, at the risk of being defrocked by their state medical boards. This indeed is a shit show, and it it looks like it's going to be around a long time, and it's clear medicine and science aren't keeping up very well with the virus and its variants. What happens if a variant shows up that is immune to vaccines? Perhaps then the Hassidic doctor's cure will be resurrected and end the shit show? I don't think I will hold my breath. There are many stories in the Bible and other spiritual texts of God's messengers being ignored by the people God sent them to try to help. Such as the Hassidic doctor.
