SWEET HOME TALIBAMA encourages rape and incest

A south Talibama amiga posted on her Facebook timeline:
Here where the men swear they have it terrible and moan for a return to the good-old-days (MAGA) they are allowed to rape children, including their own with virtually no consequences. The child will be forced to carry the product of her trauma, even if it be by incest. The man will NOT be forced to pay even close to what it takes to take care of just one child and yet there are women so brainwashed and ignorant they are still today standing by their so-called men who openly are as disrespectful as their beloved buffoon of a "President".
Have at it, women. In a few generations they will be selling your daughter's virginity and I imagine you will be okay with that, too.

  • Michelle Colebourn Yep...it's dark ages news. Bloody awful :

  • Sloan Bashinsky Talibama rises again

For the religious and legal strict constructionists:

    Genesis: 2:7
    New International Version
Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

    U.S. Constitution:

    Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof....

    Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

This former Alabama practicing attorney can see the current U.S. Supreme Court ignoring Genesis: 2:7 and the prohibition against establishment of a religion, and using Amendment X to dodge the federal judiciary ruling on the new Alabama abortion law.

Meanwhile, if the new abortion law is allowed to take effect, I imagine a lot of pregnant Alabama women will go out of state to have abortions, and a lot of Alabama pregnant women will use "home remedy" methods to induce miscarriage, without protection by medical professionals. While I think that outcome, and the law itself, are insane, the Democrats/women's rights people went too far demanding and getting late-term abortions without the mother or unborn baby being at serious risk. If a pregnant woman does not wish to carry a fetus to term, then let her have the abortion early in the pregnancy. Or, she carries it to term and puts it up for adoption by a couple who cannot have a child and want to adopt. The pro-life folks should all sign up to be adoptive parents. Or, they should shut up, I say.

    • Elizabeth Hinds Davis Children separated at birth from the only voice and heartbeat they have known as the world suffer a core wound that does not heal and are 4 times as likely to attempt suicide as teenagers than non adoptees.
In so much as I am aware, the only exclusions for late term abortion are in the emergency case of saving the life of the Mother, with the child already not being viable or not expected to survive more than a matter of days.
If I got pregnant it would almost certainly kill me. Same with my little sister and first cousin. This is a matter between our doctors and ourselves and absolutely not one other person or even a person wanna-be that's a clump of cells without brain activity.

    • Sloan Bashinsky Part of my comment, Liz, was directed to women who get pregnant and wait long time to decide to get an abortion, because they don't want the baby. I agree with your assessment, and add, based on my and a wife's experience with her having 2 abortions, and other ways I get information, that an abortion simply for convenience causes serious soul damage in both the mother and the father.

    • Elizabeth Hinds Davis Sloan Bashinsky yeah, if I were "down" with that I myself would not have the 3 that I do. With that said, if someone leaves you holding the bag and you are able to predict terrible circumstances from a child left Fatherless, you abort at whatever point you realize the sperm carrier was nothing more than that.

    • Sloan Bashinsky I agree with if the woman is left holding the bag, she alone makes the choice to abort, if not aborting will wreck her life, or even result in her killing herself, or becoming nuts, or getting some very real life-threatening medical problem caused by the stress of having the child. But also, she could have the baby and put it up for adoption. If she is not an addict, and the baby is otherwise healthy, deserving adoptive parents/parent should be easy to find. However, if she is an addict, and the unborn child therefore also is an addict, that takes me to the argument that the least worst outcome might be abortion, because the child will go through a horrible withdrawal after birth, and who can say what permanent physical and psychic damage the child experienced before birth, and during the withdrawal, and being raised by an addict mother?

The American Talibans are playing God, in my opinion, and are seriously ignorant of the various collateral damages they inflict, while claiming they represent decency, God and the voiceless mother and voiceless unborn and then born child's best interests. I think the American Talibans will not like their karma. I also think this would not have happened in Alabama, or similar results elsewhere, if the Democrats had fielded a decent candidate in 2016. Wiley Trump captured the religious right's votes by promising to put religious right judges on the U.S Supreme Court. The Alabama anti-abortion law seems drawn up expressly to force SCOTUS to rule on it. Do you think that would be happening, if a decent Democrat had won in 2016, who put two decent judges on SCOTUS?

    • Elizabeth Hinds Davis Sloan Bashinsky ask me my feelings in regards to the DNC's miscarriage of Democracy and MEALYMOUTH dyed-in-the-wool Dems said nothing as they'd been planning on voting for the one they KNEW it would be GIVEN to who had PAID for it in the first place.
AS disgusted by their acceptance of the system as I am the ones who actually benefit.

    • Sloan Bashinsky Yep. And, I say again, they only need to look in the mirror to see what they should be cursing for what the Alabama Talibans did to even their own women, who just might have an opportunity some day to look back at today and wonder what in the hell they were thinking? They are pregnant. Raped by their brother, And no doctor can abort their baby, because the Alabama Taliban and the US Supreme Court Taliban say they cannot.
    • Sloan Bashinsky The South has indeed risen again?
  • Elizabeth Hinds Davis My people should have stayed in Ohio.
  • Sloan Bashinsky I met a Alabama fellow yesterday, who said his wife is a lawyer, and she thinks the Alabama Republican legislators and governor should be taken out and shot. I figured it was metaphor.
