Key West the Newspaper keelhauling of the county commissioners and staff got results and earned "the blue paper" a $1,000,000 bounty and the county commission should pay the blue paper $500 an hour to vet all future real estate development schemes

Today's post is a sequel to the Key West the (Blue) Newspaper part of yesterday's   Key West's Pulitzer-deserving, boat-rocking blue paper strikes again, and a breath of fresh air 2020 mayor candidate? post at this blog:
Naja and Arnaud Girard,
The Blue Paper publishers
COUNTY COMMISSION TABLES GIVING LAUREL AVENUE TO DEVELOPERS: Commissioner Carruthers stated, “I’m not ready to give this away at all. If we have law enforcement issues then we need to do a better job of enforcing the law there — I don’t mind tabling this indefinitely.”

  • Sloan Bashinsky The county commissioners should ORDER the county administrator to cut a bounty check to the blue paper for $1,000,000, and then put the blue paper in charge of vetting all future development schemes brought to the county government, at the rate of $500 an hour, which I imagine is less than Lips Are Moving (Attorney Barton Smith) charges his developer clients to represent them before the county government.
